Pass Doors

Pass doors are ideal in applications where space is too limited for the installation of a standard entry door. They conserve energy by allowing building access via a smaller opening versus the entire sectional door, this minimizes wear and tear on the door as well saves electric operator cycles. In inclement weather, the heat or cold distribution between inside and outside of the building is minimized, conserving additional energy costs.
Available On
3720, 3722, 3724, 3200 and 3220 insulated models as well as 520 and 524 series non-insulated models

Break-away Bottom Sections

Break-away Bottom Sections

Weather Breaker 175 Overhead Door

General's Weather-Breaker Door is 1-3/4" thick, constructed of polyurethane foam injected between two G-60 hot-dipped galvanized steel skins. This is a super-insulated door with an R-value of 16.4. This is an obvious choice if energy conservation is a foremost concern, but the Weather-Breaker's sturdy, solid construction makes it a good overhead door for many uses.

Non-insulated Ribbed Overhead Door

General's standard commercial door is a pan-type product, 2-1/8" thick, made with 24 gauge G-60 hot-dipped galvanized steel skin and heavy duty galvanized stiles welded to the skin on each side. It can be ordered with a 20 gauge skin for extra heavy duty applications.

Insulated Ribbed Overhead Door

General's insulated pan-type door is 2-1/8" thick, made with 24 gauge G-60 hot-dipped galvanized steel skin and heavy duty galvanized stiles welded to the skin on each side. Polystyrene insulation 1-7/16" thick is installed and covered with 26 gauge white painted steel or a heavy vinyl backer sheet. This door can also be ordered with a 20 gauge skin for extra heavy duty applications.
